If a family of 4 or more book (2 adults, 2 children) – only 3 pay! The conditions are that the children must be under 20 years of age and sharing a room (max 2 people per room). Children must be able to handle a horse in open spaces at all paces, as Los Alamos do not have any horses smaller than 14 hands high. Riding ability is more important than age.

The riding hours in July and August are not very different from the rest of the year. A typical day would be leaving at 9 getting back around 1pm, this way avoiding the hottest part of the day. Time for a drink and a shower before going out for lunch at around 2pm. Up to and between 3-4 hours riding each day maximum.
